Overview

Clopay Bridgeport™ Inlay is a recessed-panel steel door with an extended panel base and a fiberglass carriage-house inlay in X, V, or A patterns. The inlay has a pebbled texture that sits well on wood-grain or stucco homes. Construction is 1-, 2-, or 3-layer with Intellicore® or polystyrene (official R-values 6.3 to 18.4). Heights 7', 7' 3", or 8'; 21" or 24" sections. Premium Black and Iron Ore use thicker 25-gauge steel and solar-reflective paint. WindCode® is available up to W8 on select models.

This is the door when you want carriage-house character without a full Coachman or Canyon Ridge overlay. Shaker panels plus a simple inlay read custom without the premium composite price.

How is this different from Coachman?

Coachman is a four-layer steel door with a full textured composite overlay. Bridgeport Inlay is a recessed steel door with a lighter fiberglass X, V, or A inlay. We will price both if you like the carriage look.

Can Overhead Door of America install a Bridgeport Inlay on my home?

Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.

Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?

Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
