Overview

Clopay Avante® Sleek is the panoramic aluminum-and-glass door. Unlike standard Avante’s grid of rectangular lites, Sleek uses slim horizontal glass and minimal vertical stiles. Model AZ6 is 2-1/8" commercial-grade aluminum. Model AZ6U adds Intellicore®-insulated rails and stiles with an official R-value of 3.8 when paired with clear insulated glass. C-Power™ Click-to-Conceal™ panels switch from clear to opaque with a remote. Single-car doors up to 10' 2" wide have no center stile; double doors have one; doors up to 22' 2" wide have two.

Pick Sleek when you want the glass door to read like a ribbon of windows, not a grid. It is the door Clopay shows on contemporary, mid-century, loft, and updated ranch homes.

Questions we hear

What is the difference between Avante and Avante Sleek?

Both are aluminum-and-glass. Standard Avante uses a grid of stiles and rails. Sleek uses slim horizontal windows and little or no center stile so the glass reads as a panoramic band.

Will my Sleek door have a center stile?

Single-car doors up to 10' 2" wide have none. Double doors have one. Doors up to 22' 2" wide have two equally spaced vertical stiles.

Can Overhead Door of America install a Avante Sleek on my home?

Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.

Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?

Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
